Few riders have enjoyed a relationship with the Isle of Man TT as long or successful as John McGuinness MBE.
The Morecambe Missile made his TT debut in 1996 and went on to become one of the most successful competitors in the event’s history, claiming 23 victories across an extraordinary career. Particularly formidable in the big-bike races, McGuinness became a multiple Senior TT winner and was the first rider to lap the Mountain Course at more than 130mph.
His speed, longevity and consistency have made McGuinness one of the defining riders of the modern TT and a firm favourite with generations of road racing fans.
