Part of one of road racing’s most famous families, Robert Dunlop built an outstanding racing career of his own and became a five-time Isle of Man TT winner.
After winning the Newcomers 350cc Manx Grand Prix in 1983, Robert claimed his first TT victory in the 125cc race in 1989. He successfully defended the title in 1990 before completing a 125cc and Junior TT double in 1991. His fifth and final TT victory came in the Ultra-Lightweight race in 1998.
Renowned for his determination and ability on smaller-capacity machinery, Robert remains an important part of both the Dunlop family story and TT history.
