Known simply as the King of the Roads, Joey Dunlop remains one of the greatest and most loved riders in Isle of Man TT history.
The Ballymoney legend claimed his first TT victory in 1977 and went on to win an extraordinary 26 races around the Mountain Course. His achievements included six consecutive Formula One TT victories and three famous hat-tricks, with his final three wins coming at TT 2000 at the age of 48.
Away from his success on the bike, Joey’s humility and humanitarian work earned admiration around the world. More than two decades after his passing, his name remains inseparable from the Isle of Man TT.
