Geoff Duke

One of the biggest stars in motorcycle racing history, Geoff Duke OBE helped transform both the Isle of Man TT and Grand Prix motorcycle racing during the 1950s.

Duke burst onto the scene by winning the Senior Manx Grand Prix in 1949 before taking a sensational Senior TT victory for Norton the following year. He would eventually claim six TT victories and six motorcycle World Championships, racing for both Norton and Gilera.

Renowned for his smooth riding style and professionalism, Duke became one of motorcycle racing’s first international superstars and remains one of the most important figures in TT history.
