The first volume of a comprehensive new history of the World's most illustrious and exciting real road races via the beautiful (and often previously unpublished) photos from the Keigs collection.
Volume One covers the era between the wars which saw the TT become the cathedral of British motorcycle racing.
An era in which Sunbeam, Scott, Velocette, Norton and Rudge vied for supremacy and the reputations of a plethora of riders like Simpson, Guthrie, Woods and Handley were forged.
It also shows the rise of foreign interest, and success, as Moto Guzzi, DKW and BMW got involved and Omobono Tenni, Georg Meier and Ewald Kluge wrote their own chapters in the history books.
