himself – and his machine – to the limit at the Mid-Antrim 150.
Photographer Stephen Davison explains the story behind
the shot in his best-selling book Hard Roads.
‘William Dunlop (Honda) shaves the grass on the bank at
during the 250cc race at the 2005 Mid-Antrim 150. I watched the riders at this
corner in the practice session the evening before and I was certain that during
the race, when they were pushing a little harder. Someone would brush against
the bank. I returned in the morning and crawled into a hole in the ditch to
