This stunning image shows Gary Johnson, one of road racing’s
rising stars, launching his Robinson Concrete-backed Uel Duncan Honda at
Rhencullen during practice for the 2009 Isle of Man TT.
The spectacular picture was taken by renowned road racing
photographer Stephen Davison as Johnson put his 600cc Supersport machine
through its paces. It is a breathtaking image, capturing not only the
flamboyant and determined style of Johnson, but also the magic of the TT –
riders pushing themselves to the limit just inches from houses, walls and
hedges.
