This wonderful image shows Michael Dunlop on his way to an emotionally-charged
victory at the 2009 Isle of Man TT.
Michael, nephew of Joey and son of Robert, was in devastating
form during the second Supersport race, taking his 600cc Yamaha to the win,
more than 30 seconds ahead of second placed Bruce Anstey.
The Dunlop name is inextricably linked with the TT, and
Michael has ensured that important relationship continues despite the tragic
loss of both Joey and Robert.
In this spectacular picture, Michael is shown skilfully negotiating
the Gooseneck as he charges to his first TT win.
The image was captured by Isle of Man-based Racing Pix, the
company of respected photographer and lifelong motorcycle racing fan Steve
Corlett.
