The Fynoderee Distillery situated in the heart of Ramsey just 100 yards away from the TT Course at May Hill - an iconic, sweeping corner that sees the bikes accelerate out of town towards the mountain section of the course.
The Fynoderee Distillery can be easily accessed at all times during racing and is the perfect base for a VIP day exploring the best of what Ramsey has to offer. That is if you can drag yourself away from charming setting of The Fyn Bar – the distillery’s on-site hospitality venue.
The Distillery is located alongside the historic Manx Electric Railway station (Trams arrive from Douglas via Laxey) a two minute walk to the bus station (serves the East & West) and ideal if you are coming on foot.
As a producer of award-winning premium craft spirits (Gin, Rum ,Vodka and Whiskey releasing 2026) it’s a fascinating place to look around and not surprisingly for a distillery, the drinks are epic! Cocktails are the speciality here, but there is also Bushy’s Ales available and a range of other high quality beverages to be enjoyed.
VIPs will be looked after on a private mezzanine where there will be a large screen TV showcasing TT Live Streams and TT Footage. Your food will be served here starting with a hearty Manx Breakfast bap, a delicious artisan lunch and afternoon homemade cakes.
The Fynoderee Distillery is a family operated Manx business that proudly promotes Manx heritage, culture and folklore and a highlight of your visit will be a guided tour of the production facilities and an introduction to some of the Island’s famous folklore creatures that inspire the brand – There’s a lot more to it than just the Fairy Bridge you know!
The Fynoderee Distillery is in easy walking distance to other key viewing sites around Ramsey such as Ramsey Hairpin and Parliament Square. While you’re “Down North” (as the locals say) you may also wish to discover Ramsey’s old harbourside, head for an ice cream on South Shore, check out the small independent shops or even explore as far as the Victorian Mooragh park.
