The 1923 TT saw Douglas motorcycles victorious in the Senior race and the inaugural sidecar TT.

This short promotional film shows some of the most famous names of the era in action on the Mountain Course, including Freddie Dixon (winner of the '23 sidecar race), Alec Bennett (Junior DNF, Senior 10th) and home-grown hero Tommy Sheard - the first Manxman to win a TT.
