The 1989 250cc Bike GP Championship began at Suzuka, Japan and ended at Donington Park, England. What happened along the way represents one of the most thrilling bike GP championships we have ever had the good fortune to capture on film. One of the main highlights is the cool and brilliant riding of Sito Pons. Pons was challenged persistently in the early stages by John Kocinski and their fairing-to-fairing duels are a sight to behold. Stunning performances are also provided by Luca Cadalora (Yamaha), Carlos Cardus (Honda), Reinhold Roth (Honda) and Toshihiko Honma (Yamaha), whilst the ultra-spectacular Frenchman Jean Phillipe Ruggia adds considerably to the fabulous entertainment provided by this action crammed programme.
