TT 2018 Reviews with North West 200 & Ulster 2018 Reviews DVD

At the North West 200, Davy Todd was named the top newcomer after a number of brilliant performances. A series of fine rides saw Davey finish 12th in both of the Superstock races and also the opening Superbike race with his consistent run followed up by an impressive 13th place in the feature NW200 Superbike race. This fine form set Todd up nicely for his first appearance at the big one – the Isle of Man TT.

TT 2018 Review

Coming in to TT 2018 the absolute lap record stood at 133.962mph. After the RST Superbike TT Dean Harrison had pushed it out to 134.432mph. By the end of the PokerStars Senior TT Race Peter Hickman had smashed it out to 135.452mph!

Not to be outdone Ben and Tom Birchall had obliterated their own year-old sidecar lap record - every single race lap they completed in 2018 was inside their old mark and they eventually raised the bar to 119.25mph by becoming the first outfit to lap in under eighteen minutes.

Mere statistics do not do justice to the extraordinary racing that was witnessed on the Mountain Course in 2018 - crowds of thousands saw history in the making as glorious sunshine and near perfect conditions turned the 37.73 mile public road circuit into fastest motorcycle race course in the world.

Watching this superb review you’ll be blown away by the skills on display as you drink in the highlights of seven solo and two sidecar races, all run in record breaking times.

Northwest 2018 Review

Under brilliant blue skies and glorious sunshine, the famous "triangle" course once more reverberated to the thrilling sounds of road racing in its purest form.

Superbikes, Superstock, Supersport and Supertwins provided thrilling entertainment to the thousands of fans who had made the annual pilgrimage to the beautiful Causeway Coast to see the biggest names in road racing do battle.

Glenn Irwin, Alastair Seeley, Peter Hickman, Martin Jessopp and James Cowton all came away as winners but this simply doesn't reflect the depth of the field.

As you'll see on this spectacular review, the combination of brilliant weather and a stellar line-up of hugely talented riders made for some of the most intense and closely fought races the course has ever seen.

Ulster GP 2018 Review

With six winners from seven races the 2018 MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix was as wide open as you could ever hope for.

A class field of internationally renowned riders lined up for each of the races on the Dundrod Circuit outside Belfast, and put on a show of truly thrilling racing.

The mass starts on the 7.3 mile public roads circuit always make for a superb race, and the flat-out nature of the course demands the maximum in commitment and bravery from the riders.

In 2018 Peter Hickman, Conor Cummins and Dean Harrison were the fancied stars, but you could never discount Christian Elkin, Lee Johnston, Shaun Anderson, Neil Kernohan and rising star Adam McLean.
