Weather played a role in creating drama for the organisers and a freak accident involving a helicopter and powerlines added to the headaches, but when the bikes were out on track there wasn't any complaining.

Peter Hickman, Lee Johnston and Glenn Irwin all added to their winning tallies, but the most memorable win of the event came from James Hillier who produced a phenomenal ride in wet conditions to claim his first North West 200 victory in unforgettable style.
