The fastest ever newcomer to the TT. Josh Brookes credentials as a motorbike racer were never in doubt but many wondered how his skills would translate from the short circuit to the 37.73 miles of the MOuntain COurse.
He answered the questions in the best possible way - by clocking a lap in excess of 127 mph in the Superbike race and beating Steve Plater's longstanding newcomer record.
